Biography
Angela is a junior undergraduate at San Francisco State University studying Biology with a concentration in Microbiology. Angela joined the Atherosclerosis Research Lab in Fall 2024 due to her keen interest in clinical research and desire to learn multiple laboratory techniques. Prior to joining the lab, Angela worked as a college STEM tutor and a laboratory assistant at the Kirsch Center at De Anza College where she was involved in maintenance tasks for a living lab containing 400 species of plants representing 12 California natural communities. Angela aspires to become a Clinical Lab Scientist or a Physician Assistant and is actively exploring her options.
